Sam Sotrop - Veterinarian

Dr. Sam Sotrop joined Patton Chapel Animal Clinic in 2022.

Dr. Sam is from Maplewood, NJ. He attended undergraduate at Auburn University and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. His favorite parts of veterinary medicine are interpreting x-rays and ultrasound, but he also loves using his veterinary knowledge on international mission trips.

Dr. Sam, his wife, Sarah, and their daughter, Lydia, live in Helena. They are frequently found volunteering at the Alabama Wildlife Hospital in their spare time, or watching movies and playing board games with friends. Their family currently includes a black lab named Piper, but cats, pocket pets, and reptiles are expected to soon join the roster.
